It can be really hard work to have a light-coloured floor in any room in your home, as you can’t live in blissful ignorance as to what is lurking under there.
Now one woman said her floors feel “brand new,” and she’s so glad she purchased a certain product after admitting she’d been bleaching her floors for ages, so she was under the impression her space was clean as a whistle.
However, she found it wasn’t when she invested in a viral floor cleaner, sharing she was “disgusted but also mind-blown” at the results.
Taking to TikTok, Beth showed off her cream-coloured floor, sharing: “I bought this as I noticed my floors just looked stained no matter how much I bleached them, and oh my, I am so glad I did. My floors feel brand new.”
She could be seen cleaning the floor, urging people to watch until the end of the clip, as they’d be “mind-blown” by the results.
Over the top of the video, Beth penned: “POV: You bleach your floors twice a week, hoover and mop daily, but you bought the viral TikTok floor scrubbing brush and can’t believe the results.”
So much muck came up from the floor and made it look brand-new again, and it’s safe to say Beth will not be going back to her previous method of cleaning when she’s found something that works so well for her.
These brushes can be purchased from TikTok shop, where the price fluctuates, and also on Amazon for £12.99.
One review of it reads: “Love cleaning with this broom. It’s sturdy, easy to use, and really does a good job.”
Another satisfied customer said: “My utility room has light grey tiles, and I noticed they looked much darker despite regular mopping. I used this brush with floor cleaner today and couldn’t believe the amount of dirt that was removed. The squeegee bit is really useful as I can use it to collect the residue and then use the mop. My floor looks like new now.”
In the comments, a cleaner shared: “As someone in the cleaning industry… Bleach doesn’t clean!!! It just kills germs and bleaches marked areas that are dirty. Don’t fall for the ‘clean look’.”
“How does one have time to hoover and mop daily?” someone asked.
Beth responded: “I don’t. I work 70+ hour weeks, but I make sure I do it daily after tea time cos I can’t sleep without a tidy house.”
One house-proud TikToker wrote: “I will always be surprised that people haven’t scrubbed floors clean. Although marketing does make people believe that mopping cleans and bleach is mostly used incorrectly”, sharing that they “scrub, mop it up then steam clean”.
Beth replied: “That’s what I’ll be doing now! I usually bleach with a mop and then steam mop, but gonna scrub now after these results, haha.”
