Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs loses Key to the City of Miami amid sex trafficking case

Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is currently sitting in lockup at Brooklyn MDC on federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges, has been stripped of his Key to the City of Miami — months after losing the same honor in his native New York.

The 54-year-old embattled Harlem-born mogul’s key to Magic City was rescinded this week, following his federal arrest in mid-September and mounting sexual assault lawsuits, TMZ reports.

Nearly a decade after the honorary key was bestowed on Combs, insiders said a hearing was held Wednesday, and Mayor Steven Meiner and the city commission cast a unanimous vote to revoke it.

Though Meiner is expected to sign off the resolution shortly, he’s not yet done so, sources told TMZ.

The move is Miami’s latest attempt to distance itself from Combs, whose home there — and in Los Angeles — was raided by Homeland Security agents in March as part of the federal sex trafficking investigation. He was awarded the key in 2015.

In June, Miami Beach’s honorary “Sean Diddy Combs Day” was revoked amid the lawsuits, which kicked off with that of Combs’ ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, filed last November.

Earlier in June, Combs returned his Key to New York City at the request of Mayor Adams — who is now awaiting his trial for corruption.

The cities’ outrage followed CNN’s May publication of 2016 surveillance footage that showed Combs beating Ventura in a hotel hallway.

Combs’ legal issues really kicked off when Ventura, 38, filed a blockbuster lawsuit accusing him of rape, sex trafficking and longstanding abuse during their nearly decade-long relationship.

The former couple settled the following day, only for other accusers with similarly sordid allegations to come forward in the weeks and months that followed. Many were filed on behalf of victims who were minors at the time of the alleged assaults.
