Scrambled eggs will be ‘creamy and light’ by adding one key ingredient

There’s nothing quite like tucking into a fluffy portion of scrambled eggs.

They’re the perfect option for breakfast, lunch or even for dinner if you’re in the mood. After all, they’re tasty, good for us and super easy to make.

But, even though they’re pretty simple to whip up, it’s also easy to take your eggs to the next level. All you need to do is add a simple ingredient at the last minute to ensure they’re super creamy.

London restaurant Fallow Restaurant shared how to make scrambled eggs “like a chef” on TikTok, and it’s not as tricky as you may think. He starts by cracking four eggs into a bowl and then adding butter straight to the pan.

He ensures this is melted before he mixes his eggs and adds to the pan. When whisking the eggs, he said it’s good to keep them “nice and textural”

Explaining what to do, he said: “Eggs go in, that pan’s nice and hot, so what we’re going to do is just take them off. Slowly, slowly work them until they come together.

“This recipe is going to take about two minutes to cook. Good amount of pepper, salt. Just at the end a tiny bit of creme fraiche. Scrambled eggs like a chef.”

Since the video was shared it’s been viewed over 26,000 times, and people were quick to comment too. It’s clear they have all sorts of methods and tricks for making scrambled eggs.

One person said: “If something tastes delicious, it’s because of butter.” Another added: “I use cooking cream, also works just as nice.”

A third replied: “Love a bit of strong cheese in mine.” Meanwhile, a fourth also commented: “Just made the eggs from this video and they are so nice. Omg!”

Some people worried there wasn’t milk in the recipe though, as people also swear by this method. Experts say adding milk or water to scrambled eggs is optional, but it can affect the texture of the dish.

If you want to make creamy scrambled eggs, add up to one tablespoon of milk for every egg. For fluffy scrambled eggs, you can add up to one tablespoon of water for every egg.
