Roman’s £35 ‘not itchy’ jumper impresses shoppers as it ‘washes well’

A stylish and warm jumper has won the hearts of shoppers who are claiming the classic chunky knit as a new favourite in their winter wardrobe. Roman’s Curved Hem Stitch Detail Jumper retails for £35 and is available in grey, red or black.

Just what the cold weather ordered, its oversized fit looks great with jeans and boots, or could be worn with a midi skirt and accessoried with jewellery for a more dressed up outfit.

Fashion fans have been left seriously impressed with the quality and weight of the jumper, describing it as a ‘heavy cosy knit’ that will ‘keep me warm through the winter months’.

Another happy customer wrote a review that says: “Love the jumper! Stylish and smart enough for going out for lunch, also very warm for our very chilly British weather. First time I wore it I was asked where I had got it from. I wish I had had it in another colour now!”

If you’re worried about washing the jumper and it keeping its shape, shoppers confirm that won’t be a problem. Someone wrote: “Great looking…very warm, longer length love the feel of it. Washes well, have hand washed and also machine washed on delicate.”

Another person highlighted how soft the fabric is, commenting: “Really nice jumper, not itchy, just right length. Will look nice with skinny jeans or leggings.” And they added: “Absolutely love this jumper. So chunky and super soft. Very flattering.”

However, someone did deduct one star from their review, quoting: “Lovely jumper, good quality a good length if you need it to go well over your behind. I’ve given a four star as it is a lot, lot heavier knit that appears on line, which looked very bulky on me (I’m 5’1 size 12/14).”

Another jumper that we’re predicting will be a big hit is the M&S Cloud-Yarn Textured Roll Neck Jumper, also priced at £35. A shopper that has already got their hands on it said: “This is lovely, the lilac colour suits people of all ages. I would suggest going down a size as the fit is very large. I haven’t worn it yet but looking forward to doing do. I recommend this beautiful jumper.”

If you’re looking to tighten the purse strings this January, consider the Seasalt Cornwall end of season sale with up to 70% off knitwear.
