Rising Death Toll After Passenger Jet Crashes in South Korea

A Jeju Airline jet crashed at Muan International Airport in South Korea at 9am local time on Sunday.

The jet, carrying 175 passengers and six crew members, careened off the runway, rolled over and burst into flames.

Officials said the disaster was caused by a critical failure of the plane’s landing gear.
