Princess Kate would love the Monica Vinader gemstone hoop earrings which are just £70 | Royal | News

Princess Kate is renowned for her exquisite taste in jewellery and has stepped out in many show-stopping displays when out representing the Royal Family. The 42-year-old has been spotted in jewels costing tens of thousands, including the Cartier Halo Tiara, which is worth an eye-watering £1 million.

In recent years the Princess of Wales has opted to wear more affordable items. She has taken a shine to the likes of Missoma and Monica Vinader, who pride themselves on sustainable manufacturing.

The Mini Gem Huggie Earrings at Monica Vinader would be loved by Princess Kate as they sport a stunning green onyx stone. These are an absolute bargain and you can buy them here for just £78 if you click on this link.

They are described by the designer as: “Perfect for adding a touch of vibrance to your everyday edit, they feature richly hued green onyx gemstone accents.

“Crafted from 18ct gold-plated vermeil sterling silver, these playfully elegant hoop earrings boast a colourful statement, with pebble-inspired green onyx gemstones hanging from the highly-polished hoops.”

Kate wore a similar pair, the Siren Wire Earrings and they are £128 – you can buy them here now. It has been said by the brand that they are the Princess of Wales’s “favourite hand-cut gemstone earrings.”

The brand added that they’re “simple, elegant but standout. So, expect all of the compliments when wearing. As easy for every day as an evening statement earring, and looks incredible in a stack.”

Gemstones are a product of the earth; they are formed by a variety of geological processes and vary in price depending on their value.

They are also linked to healing by promoting physical, spiritual and emotional well-being by interacting with the body’s energy points.

Over the years the royals have been swapping their diamonds for ethically sourced gemstones, including Queen Camilla who has also donned necklaces from the British jeweller.

Monica Vinader uses a variety of materials, including recycled gold and sterling silver, ethically sourced diamonds and gemstones.

She also exclusively uses 100% recycled gold and sterling silver in all of her designs as well as conflict-free diamonds.

If earrings are not your thing but prefer necklaces then look no further than the Goddess Chain Coin Pendant, that Queen Camilla wore.

Last year at the 140th Sandringham Flower Show, Camilla put on a stunning display after being surrounded by blooming colours.

You can buy it here now if you click on the link here for just £98.

It is described as being: “Inspired by a rare Celtic coin depicting a warrior queen, channel your own inner goddess with this gold vermeil talisman. A handcrafted symbol of strength, protection and courage.”
