Princess Kate stuns in designer burgundy coat dress – you can buy similar for just £67 | Royal | News

Princess Kate was a vision of colour as she paid tribute to the Qatari Royal Family during their state visit. The 42-year-old looked radiant in a burgundy look which was a clear reference to their national flag.

She accompanied her husband Prince William during the Ceremonial Welcome. The Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and his wife Sheikha Jawaher were officially greeted with the event held at Horse Guards Parade after jetting over to the UK.

Kate glowed in the burgundy ensemble which was created by bespoke designers. Her coat dress was designed by Sarah Burton, on behalf of Alexander McQueen.

Meanwhile, she accessorised with a matching hat by Sahar Millinery and completed the look with boots, which she later swapped for a pair of Givenchy heels. Her entire outfit was a re-wear.

If you were to splash out on Princess Kate’s outfit, it would cost thousands. However, the Express.co.uk have found a selection of alternative dresses that cost a fraction of the price.

However, if you are looking to splash out and make an investment, then you must consider the Hobbs Caitlin Coat, which is £235.

You can buy it now if you click on this link and save over £100 after it has been reduced from £379, and would make the pefect statement piece.

Tones of maroon are a huge hit this winter with many claiming it is the “colour of the season”. You only have to take one look at the high street and you will see it everywhere.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one user said: “Just love Kate’s look. She knows how to make an entrance. That colour looks incredible on her, and she has really made it the colour of the season.”

A second shared: “Grace, impeccable look, poise, appropriate ensemble — Catherine showing everyone this is royalty.”

Meanwhile a third chimed in and penned: “Love the look! She’s the OG of the coat elegance. She can make anything look amazing because she’s wearing it.”
