Martha Stewart posts furious rant on Instagram

Martha Stewart posted a furious message on her Instagram account calling for change to the platform.

The businesswoman, who famously served five months in federal prison, posted the message to her 1.7M followers.

The business mogul is apparently sick of bots spamming her spots on the social media hub.

The iconic US celebrity took Instagram to task and her fans and fellow celebs backed her up.

Martha wrote: “It is time for Instagram management to curtail the rampant influx of spam that appears on so many personal posts.

“I cannot believe that management is unaware of this invasive nuisance!

“It just makes the posting of original and lovely content very problematical.

“Please Instagram take care of this. Meta owes its users and responders this courtesy.”

Chef Christian Petroni wrote: “Insta just got yelled at by Martha.”

UK style expert Trinny Woodall left a message with three clapping hand emojis.

Another wrote: “10000% agree – the bots/spam accounts are really getting out of hand!”

One said: “It’s crazy in the comments sections on a lot of posts. I sometimes see posts that have only bot comments.”

Martha is an avid user of her Instagram account, keeping fans updated on her movements.

After posting her rant she posted a picture of some delicious-looking bread after filming Martha Cooks for ROKU channel 448 at @breadsbakery best baguette, amazing croissants, artisanal sourdough, soft pretzels, and much much more!!!”

She then posed with some chicken to appear on the Today Show. She said: “My Silkie chickens visited from the farm to do a segment with me about chicks and hens- the sempervivum kind!”

Earlier this year Martha Stewart wowed with an age-defying Instagram selfie.

However, some accused the businesswoman of editing the images.

Soon after Martha followed the post up with another featuring three more selfies, in what seems like a backlash against negative comments. She wrote: “These are the other three selfies I took. My expression was better in the first one but my skin looks great in all of them. Unfiltered. No facelift.”

The mogul even took the opportunity to shout out her favourite skin experts. She wrote: “Great derms my whole life. Currently Dr. Daniel Belkin and Dr. Dhaval Bhanusali.”

She added that she follows a “Geat diet, great exercise and did I mention amazing facials @mariobadescu for the last forty years!”
