Additionally, she discourages dietary restrictions. In the past, she focused on consuming “as little as possible,” but now warns against this approach.

According to Lizzy, restriction like this can lead to issues like hair loss and bloating. Instead, she suggests considering what you can add to your diet rather than eliminate. She emphasises the importance of enjoying your favourite foods while incorporating nutrient-rich options that promote fullness.

Increasing your intake of protein and fruits is also an effective strategy, according to the personal trainer. Lizzy reassured her followers that it’s fine to occasionally indulge, underscoring the importance of progress over “perfection”.

In an Instagram post, she confessed: “I made SO many mistakes when I first started my health and fitness journey. I used to feel embarrassed that I went to such extremes, but I didn’t know any better.

“My job now is to prevent you from making the same mistakes that I did. You deserve better. You deserve to feel and look your best without going sacrificing your life or health. I hope this helps you.”
