Foodies left mind-blown after discovering ‘secret’ ketchup sauce hack

Are you a ketchup connoisseur or someone who can’t stand a dry chip?

We all know the struggle of trying to get every last bit of sauce out of those pesky little sachets. But fear not, for we have stumbled upon a game-changing hack that will ensure you never waste a drop again.

Instagram sensation @makesushi1, with a following of nearly 300,000, recently wowed the internet with a simple yet effective technique.

Now in a viral video, the person demonstrates how a fork can be the ultimate tool in your condiment arsenal, meaning you never have to waste a drop ever again…

The caption revealed: “The secret Heinz doesn’t want you to know!” By placing a fork under the sachet and sliding it across, you can salvage “every last drop of ketchup”.

This clever individual then added: “If you have very good control, you can aim it where you ever need to.” Since its upload last week, the post racked up thousands of likes and comments.

One impressed viewer remarked: “That’s interesting. I should have known that a long time ago, but now I just learned it from watching this video.” Another chimed in with praise: “That’s a great tip.”

Meanwhile, a third confessed: “Embarrassed that I never thought of this. Makes so much sense.” Subsequently, a fourth person added: “Great… For every simple problem there is a complex solution that works almost as well as my fingers.”

Others offered their thoughts on applying the trick in other scenarios, with one chiming in: “Where my toothpaste at?”

Meanwhile, another individual highlighted a different snag, advising: “Great idea but wipe down the ketchup packet first or you will be eating all the germs on the outside.”

In a post on the Today Years Old account, which boasts 1million followers, the page wrote: “How old were you when you discovered what this is for?”

At the time it was posted, it garnered a massive 1.6million views with 7,500 likes and hundreds of comments. In the video, it shows the special key which is often used as a tool for drilling through wood.

And in order to complete a perfect circle, you need the hole to allow you to draw the shape with ease. It’s basically like a compass you use for a maths lesson, but for a DIY job. Mind-blowing right?
