Debenhams drop 82% off deal on makeup gifts with £55 brushes now £12

Debenhams has dramatically cut the price of several sought-after beauty products in the run-up to Black Friday and Christmas. If you’re on the hunt for gifts for makeup enthusiasts, Debenhams’ current sale could be your ideal shopping destination.

The retailer has knocked up to 82% off its makeup organisers and display boxes. It’s also made a significant reduction on a set of professional makeup brushes, dropping the price from £55 to less than £12.

Originally priced at £89.99, Debenhams’ Makeup Organiser Storage Drawers Acrylic Cosmetic Organisers is now £16.15, offering customers a saving of around £75.

This ‘hassle-free’ display case, available in pink, is perfect for storing tall bottles such as foundations, setting sprays, primers, and toners. The box also features several drawers for keeping makeup brushes, eyeshadow palettes, blushers, powders, and lipsticks.

Described as ‘very handy’, this ‘dustproof and waterproof’ case can be utilised in the bathroom, bedroom or dressing room.

One person said it’s an ‘excellent size’ and ‘holds a lot’, while another wrote: “Lovely case with enough space for lots of items. Plenty of height for tall bottles too – keeps my desk nice and tidy.”

Bargain hunters will be delighted with several cut-price makeup organisers up for grabs, such as the High Round Transparent Cosmetic Display Box, which initially priced at £89, is now a steal at £18.66. Likewise, the light green Large Capacity Makeup Organiser has seen its price slashed from £79 to £21.99.

Not to be outdone in the savings stakes, Debenhams has dropped the price of their 12 piece Professional Makeup Brush Set from £55.50 to an astonishing £11.50 – that’s a whopping 79% off, handing customers a potential saving of £44.

This extensive set encompasses five brushes for the face, seven for eyeshadow application, and throws in a beauty blender sponge alongside a brush cleaner tool for good measure. The makeup brush kit has impressed consumers, earning a 4.4-star rating out of five.

Customer testimonials add to the allure, with Cathie remarking: “A very nice set of brushes some are softer than I expected but overall they are very good.”

Another shopper observed: “They look more expensive than you would expect for the price particularly like that they are in a handy case.”

Further praise comes from a satisfied parent who shared: “Got it for daughter Xmas and she loves it in fact two of her friends was asking where I got it but I don’t want to let them know the extraordinary discount on it (that’s between Debenhams and me).”

However, not all comments were glowing, as Sare expressed disappointment: “Not what you expect from a brand like Debenhams Very cheap packaging.” Sumai reported dissatisfaction too: “Some items are damaged. Can not even use it.”

Elsewhere, Amazon is offering an 18 piece makeup brush set for £7.99, down from £9.99. Superdrug has also slashed the price of its Studio London Ultimate Brush Collection from £30 to £15.
