Boots luxury beauty set that makes skin glow is better than half price

Boots is running a January sale that sees thousands of beauty products reduced to better than half price. One of the current offers gets you a generous saving on this luxury skincare set I have been testing.

It’s the Origins Round the Clock Radiance Skincare Gift Set, a four-piece skincare routine worth £92.90 – now reduced to £26. An online exclusive at Boots, this bundle is not available at any other retailer and includes a full-size Ginzing Glow-Boosting Serum, a full-size Ginzing SPF30 Moisturiser, a mini Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash and a mini High Potency Night-A-Mins Resurfacing Cream.

These products are designed to remove buildup and revive dull skin while keeping your complexion hydrated. I have been using them since December and they have certainly made my skin glow. Not to mention, this set is perfect to take along on holidays.

With detoxifying ingredients like Broad Leaf Kelp Extract, Wheat Protein and Tourmaline, I started my day in the morning by using the Frothy Face Wash, which helps me to get rid of any surface oils or impurities. The formula frothed up nicely but I found it slightly stripping – it’s best to use a pea-sized amount.

But the star of the gift set is no doubt the Ginzing Glow-Boosting Serum. Ginseng has been regarded as a luxury anti-ageing treatment in Southeast Asia to reduce inflammation. It’s common to see the ingredient in health supplements and teas so I was really excited to try this serum. Worth £44 alone, the Origins prodict has a gel-like texture that is fast-absorbing and I quickly saw a difference in terms of radiance.

It gave my skin a luminous glow that was just as good as using the brightening function on a photo-editing app. The formula is lightweight and non-sticky and leaves a slight hint of refreshing zesty scent.

More than 2,000 shoppers have tried the serum and 95% of them said they would recommend the product, one shared: “This serum plumps my aging skin and brightens it so that all my discolouration evens out. My pores are smaller too. I love it.”

“This serum left my face with a perfect dewey glow. It’s perfect under makeup or on a bare face,” while another shopper found it too strong: “I got a new one and when used it for the first time my face felt like it was on fire and was red all over. I think the formula must have changed as this didn’t used to happen.”

But a five-star customer advised: “I had nothing but amazing compliments about my skin. I have used vitamin C in my skincare on/off over the years. The key is to slowly introduce it into your skincare, making sure not to mix with other acids and other products! Always wear SPF the next day and keep reapplying as you should.”

The Origins Round the Clock Radiance Skincare Set is now available at Boots for £26. For those hunting for more beauty bargains, LookFantastic’s first limited-edition box of 2025, the Glow ‘n’ Go Edit is a £35 collection of eight skincare heroes that’s worth over £130.

At Debenhams, the Clarins 12-Day Women’s Advent Calendar is currently £57, down from £95.
