‘Life-changing’ hair hack for a salon-style blow dry – it’s ‘genius’

There’s no denying that a good hair day can make you feel your absolute best – so spending that extra time in the morning is definitely worth it.

However, thanks to the unpredictable UK weather, it often isn’t long before your perfectly styled locks can fall flat once again.

If you’re sick of looking in the mirror halfway through the day to find that your hair has lost all volume, then you’ll want to try one trick from a beauty content creator that she has hailed as ‘life-changing’.

Even better, it takes just seconds to do, and all you need is two simple products you’ll definitely already have at home.

TikToker Misha Grimes, who has racked up more than 380k followers thanks to her beauty and fashion advice, says she’ll ‘never stop doing’ this easy volumising trick.

In a recent video, she explained exactly how to transform flat and lifeless hair using just a hairbrush and some hairspray.

Showing off her locks, she said: “You’ve curled your hair, it’s been a few hours and the curls are still there but it’s looking a bit lacklustre.

“What do we do? We grab a hairbrush, we grab some hairspray.”

Misha then liberally sprayed the brush with the hairspray before flipping her head upside down and brushing her hair thoroughly, making sure to really get into the roots.

Then, she sprayed more hairspray on the brush and repeated the process twice, making sure to brush all the way from the root to the tip.

And when she flipped her head back up, her hair was noticeably more volumous than before. Admiring the results, Misha said: “It’s a foolproof technique.”

The salon-style blowdry effect took less than one minute to create, and Misha added: “I don’t understand the magic but I’m here for it.”

And people in the comments definitely seemed to agree. One impressed fan wrote: “This has changed my life!!!”

Another hailed her as a ‘genius’, and a third simply said: “Wow.”
