Meghan McCain warned her followers to get check-ups after sharing a shocking health update on social media. The self-proclaimed “political nepo baby” and former co-host of The View revealed that she had a mass in her breast biopsied, which came back as benign. “I can’t tell you how blessed, lucky and relieved I am but for any woman who follows this account or my work, PLEASE get your mammograms,” she wrote to her Instagram. “It is so important and vital and something I know a lot of us put off. I am 40 and this was a scare for me.” John McCain, the late Republican senator and Meghan’s father, died in 2018 at 81 from a glioblastoma brain tumor. The former senator had been treated for radiation and chemotherapy since it was discovered just a year prior. “Doctors, nurses, pathologists, the mammogram coordinators, all of these people are nothing short of selfless angels who walk among us,” Meghan McCain added in her Instagram post. “I am forever grateful to every single health care professional.”
