Brooklyn MTA bus rider shot, wounded in neck by stray bullet

A 25-year-old man was shot in the neck when a stray bullet blasted through the window of the MTA bus he was riding on in Brooklyn early Sunday, police said.

The B15 bus was nearing Hegeman Ave. and Thomas Boyland St., when the stray shot fired from outside hit the victim in the neck about 1:25 a.m., an NYPD spokesman said.

He had boarded the bus on Rockaway Ave. in Brownsville, cops said.

Medics took the victim to Brookdale University Hospital in stable condition.

Police have made no arrests.
