Boots drop price of ‘miracle-boosting’ serum for winter glow to £10

This week at Boots, shoppers can save £26.50 on a radiance-boosting serum to keep their skin hydrated during the chilly months.

The Lumene Glow Boost Essence, which is retailed for £36.50, is now reduced to £10 for one day only on boots.com. The clincially tested bestseller is supercharged with a unique blend of antioxidant-rich wild Arctic cloudberry and vitamin C to brighten the complexion and provide anti-ageing benefits.

Claiming to have experienced ‘miracle’ results, 100% of skincare lovers agreed that their skin is hydrated and plumper after using it daily for 28 days. Another 97% of them noticed their skin is more radiant.

The serum is boosted with three types of hyaluronic acid and polyglutamic acid for ultimate glow and it works to promote the appearance of more even looking skin.

The golden cloudberries are a rare Lapland treasure that contain twice as much vitamin C than their equivalent weight of oranges and polyglutamic acid is capable of attracting and holding water within the skin, as well as working in synergy with hyaluronic acid to enhance the skin barrier function for intense hydration and glow.

One fan said the Lumene Glow Boost Essence is a “skin renewal in a bottle” and added: “I (stupidly) burnt my hairline a few years back on holiday, which left me with quite a few areas of brown sunburn scaring as well as two patches of skin that tend to scab over slightly. This serum has smoothed the skin to its best condition (post burn) the brown marks remain but the actual condition of the skin has noticeably improved.”

A second shared: “I have been using this vitamin C for nearly a year now, it’s lovely. I really do get the glow factor to my face, especially during cold weather.”

A third said her skin ‘never felt and looked so good”, adding: “It makes my skin glow and the makeup on top looks flawless.” The Lumene Glow Boost Essence works well with all skin types including sensitive skin.

But one shopper took a star away and explained: “As someone with an oily T zone, I was worried about oiliness and build up, but this products sits well under a moisturiser and has not caused any irritation. The only concern was the fact that I haven’t use slightly more product to cover my face and neck than I would for other serums. As a result I am going through this product faster.”

Other than Lumene, RoC’s Multi Correxion vitamin C serum contains 10% active Vitamin C Blend to improve skin firmness and radiance and it’s currently on near half price sale on Amazon. So shoppers can get it for £19.19 instead of £35.99.

The new Origins Round the Clock Revival set, £39, is a Black Friday special that includes a brightening serum, radiance-boosting moisturiser, face wash and overnight peel worth over £90.
