‘I was kicked out of a shop over my racy shorts – nobody could stop staring’

An OnlyFans model has hit out at body shamers after she was asked to leave her local supermarket for wearing a revealing pair of hot pants, claiming the move was an attack on her good looks.

Kerolay Chaves, a 21-year-old adult content creator from Brazil, was wearing a pair of high-cut denim shorts and a sheer tank top when she met with “judgemental” glances from onlookers at a supermarket.

The model claims she received a volley of aggressive insults from other shoppers before the store’s staff eventually asked her to leave.

Detailing the incident on Instagram, Chaves said: “Just came into the supermarket and was bullied for wearing too short clothes. Some people looked with prejudice, others cursed me and finally, I was kicked out of the site.

“Do you believe it? I think it’s absurd that we women are still treated this way just because we dress how we want. […] We go through it because we’re too hot, that’s all.”

The Instagram post, which racked up more than 72,000 views, was met with conflicting opinions, with one user writing: “No need to go to a supermarket dressed like that. You are embarrassing the decent people often there with children.”

Another viewer echoed this thought, noting that the model’s “micro” clothing would be better on the beach. They added: “But at the supermarket? It is not normal. A little bit of common sense.”

Others were more sympathetic towards the model, with one writing: “My opinion [is that] the topic of short clothes for women is complex and often controversial.

“When discussing this topic, it is essential to remember that every woman has the right to choose her clothes according to her preferences and that no one should be judged based on their clothing choices.”

In a conversation with NudePR, Chaves said: “I felt offended by the gratuitous hate I received both in the market and in the Instagram post.

“I think all the insults have more to do with the ‘hot woman phobia’ I face on a daily basis.”

The incident adds to a string of recent reports from women complaining of the judgment they receive for their confidence and good looks.
